#41: "Halloween Special" Our annual Halloween party was always the house's big party of the year. We always spent several days decorating each and every room and usually had a huge turn out for the party. There were weeks of build-up to the party. One year on Halloween night, we put the finishing touches on the massive cave that was the centerpiece to our living room decoration and took a break before people starting arriving. It was the final build-up to the party. For some reason, Hugo started drinking at that point. He drank so much that he passed out before the party even started. So after days of work, Hugo misses the party. He spent the rest of the night staring out of his bedroom door and lying in his bed, occasionally waving at people.
