Whenever we needed to record a new answering machine message for our apartment, we always
got Hugo to do it.  If you put a recorder in front of
him and added a bit of pressure, Hugo was bound
to do something stupid.  For one recording, Hugo
was given a little ditty by John to sing into the
answering machine.  It went as follows: "Hello my
name is Hugo.  How do you do?  I'm not home
right now. But I'll get back to you." Hugo practiced
and practiced until he had it down. However, when
the time finally came to record the message, the
song came out as "Hello my name is Hugo, and
I'm not HOME!"
